One Week On Cellcept
Wednesday November 5 - I've been on Cellcept for a week. Nothing obvious regarding side effects. The most annoying thing with Cellcept is the dose timing - one hour before meals or two to three hours after meals. This is due to a 30% reduction in drug absorption due to stomach pH. Perhaps increasing the dose by 30% would be easier for the patient who then does not need to time the doses. On a more serious note, it's time to double the daily dose as per doctor instructions - "if tolerated". What are the options if I can't tolerate 2,000 mg per day of the stuff? No idea. I guess we'll know soon enough.
